The Sansa e200 series comes in three capacities - the 2GB e250 costs ÂŁ119, the 4GB e260 costs ÂŁ149 and my review model, the 6GB e270, costs ÂŁ185. You can augment the capacity of all the players with TransFlash cards (also known as microSD cards) and in doing so add a maximum of 1GB of additional storage. Cards slot into the right edge of the casing.

The player also shows pictures and movies. You need to use the supplied converter software to transport these to the player, the software coping with most popular movie and image formats. There is a voice recorder built into the device itself: the record button is on the left edge of the casing, a ‘hold’ button on the top.

Sound quality is pretty good, though I’m not a fan of the in-ear phones that are bundled, preferring my own higher quality headset. The 3.5mm jack means you can make your own choices here.

The SanDisk Sansa e200 series offers a boatload of features for a reasonable price, in a package that is much nicer than that of past SanDisk models. For those looking for a high-capacity, compact, skip-free MP3/WMA player, start with the e200 series. Read the rest of this entry »

Adobe made a public preview release of AIR (then called Apollo) along with an SDK and extension for developing Apollo applications with the Flex framework, on March 19, 2007. On June 10, 2007, Apollo was renamed to AIR and a public beta release of the runtime was launched. Public beta 2 of AIR SDK was released on October 1, 2007. The latest version, Public beta 3, was released on December 12, 2007.

A Linux version is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2008.

Klitscho vs Ibragimov Results

The fight between International Boxing Federation champ Klitschko and Ibragimov, holder of the lightly-regarded World Boxing Organisation belt is the first heavyweight unification bout since Britain’s Lennox Lewis became undisputed champion by defeating Evander Holyfield in 1999. Wladimir Klitschko has defeated Sultan Ibragimov via unanimous decision (119-110, 117-111, 118-110).

The Filmfare Awards ceremony is one of the oldest and most prominent film events given for Hindi films in India. The Filmfare awards were first introduced in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards and referred to as the Clare Awards after the magazine’s editor. A dual voting system was developed in 1956. B2 Crash

A US B-2 stealth bomber - one of the most expensive military aircraft in the world - has crashed at an air base on the Pacific island of Guam.
The United States Air Force (USAF) said both pilots had ejected safely before the plane came down at Andersen Air Force Base, shortly after take-off.

A spokeswoman said it was the first time a B-2 had crashed. B-2 bombers, which can evade most radar signals, cost about $1.2bn (ÂŁ610m) each to build. They have a range of 6,000 nautical miles (11,112 km) without refuelling and have seen service in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Some perspective: there were 21 B-2s. Now there are 20 — a roughly 5-percent reduction in an instant. In terms of airframes, that’s the equivalent of 30 F-15s crashing at the same time, or 60 F-16s, or 6 F-22s. In terms of money, that’s equivalent to 20 F-15s, 24 F-16s or 10 F-22s.

Volga River - the longest river in Europe

The Volga is the largest river in Europe in terms of length, discharge, and watershed. It flows through the western part of Russia, and is widely viewed as the national river of Russia. In fact, eleven out of the twenty largest cities of Russia, including its capital Moscow, are situated in the Volga basin. Some of the largest reservoirs in the world can be found along the Volga.

Where it starts the weather is similar to the midwest in the U.S. , cold winters and hot summers. But near it’s end in the Caspian sea the weather is more like the southwest U.S., hot and dry. At the Caspian Sea the Volga is an important source of water for the sea and its famous sturgeon fishery. The Beluga sturgeon is the largest fish found in the Volga. But the water that flows into the Caspian has been used many times upstream by the factories and the farmers.
