A 10 inch Nenue Fish caught by hand by Curt Carish coughed up a ticking gold watch.
Curt was just sitting on a picnic table looking out into the ocean of Port Allen beach when he saw a nice-size Nenue fish swimming awkwardly near the shore. Allen, a friend of Carish gave a bamboo stick for him to catch the fish.
Diving on the waist high water, he whipped the Kawai Nenue Fish a couple of times with his bamboo stick until he finally caught it. He noticed its stomach was abnormally large and put the prized catch inside their cooler.
Later on, after a few minutes, they discovered a gold watch laying beside the Nenue fish’s mouth.
Surprisingly, the gold watch was still ticking.

People close to him say David never called a suicide hotline, did not appear to suffer from depression and never mentioned receiving treatment from depression. Thai police says Carradine was not murdered and most likely died from Asphyxiation, reports WashPost.

I was quite shocked about the news of David Carradine’s death. At first it looked like suicide but later on when more information came out, it seems that Carradine died accidentally. But some people think that he was murdered.

David Carradine was a very talented actor. He had a long career in television, on stage and in the movies. He made an impression on many by the types of roles that he took. There was always a little mystery surrounding him as a person. He came across as a person who kept much of his life private; he was a shy person, according to some of his own statements. David came from a talented family of actors, so, it is no surprise that he was skilled at what he did.

Whether it was suicide or if David Carradine was murdered, there is still pain and grief for his family, friends, co-stars, and fans. It is a sad end for a talented man who appeared to try to live his life with dignity. We wish to extend sympathy to all who knew him; or, to those who felt like they did because of the roles he performed and, the impact on their lives from watching him over the years. Rest in peace David Carradine.

Michael Ireland said he suffered broken bones around his eye and his nose and now has permanent double vision, and has required multiple surgeries.

Ireland said 28-year-old Sakeena Shageer, also known as “Suki,” struck him while he was seated at the bar. Shageer, a registered exotic dance in Palm Beach County, is self-described as 5′1″ tall and 118 pounds.

Shageer, 28, - also known by her stage name “Suki” - is a registered exotic dancer in Palm Beach County, records show. In her 2004 application for a permit, she described herself as 5-foot-1 and 118 pounds.

Lytal believes Shageer spun around and struck Ireland in the face with her shoe. Even if it was an accident, he said, Ireland, a local businessman, was seriously injured in the incident at the suburban West Palm Beach nightclub.

Ireland suffered broken bones around his eye and in his nose and now has permanent double vision, Lytal said. Ireland has had one surgery and needs another.

Lytal said he was forced to sue after Cheetah’s insurance carrier refused to pay damages.

Air France told CNN the jet was making the 11-hour flight from Rio de Janeiro to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when contact was lost.

Brazil’s air force launched a search near the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha in the Atlantic Ocean, 365 km (226 miles) from Brazil’s coast, the country’s state media said. Brazil’s air force confirmed the plane was missing and said a search and rescue mission was under way near the island of Fernando de Noronha.

Brazilian air force spokesman Col Henry Munhoz told Brazilian TV it had failed to be picked up by radar on the Cape Verde Islands on its way across the Atlantic.

“Air force planes left Fernando de Noronha and are flying towards Europe to start the search for the missing plane,” he said.

Airport authorities have set up a crisis centre at Charles de Gaulle.

An Air France official told AFP that people awaiting the flight would be received in a special area at the airport’s second terminal.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been informed of the incident and has expressed his deep concern, his office said.

He has demanded that the relevant authorities do everything they can to find the plane and “shed light on the circumstances surrounding its disappearance as rapidly as possible”.

This is the first major incident in Brazilian air space since a Tam flight crashed in Sao Paulo in July 2007 killing 199 people.

Sandero (branded as a Dacia in Europe, Northern Africa, Middle East) has been quite successful in south America. The Sandero Stepway 4×4 SUV has a 1.6-litre 112 bhp 16 valve engine, the Hi-Flex one with bio-ethanol abilities. At 112 ponies it is Renault’s most powerful bio-ethanol powerplant. The new Dacia SUV Crossover will be popular in Western Europe because of its interesting styling, as well as higher ride height that makes drivers feel on top of the traffic situation. This should increase its popularity with the females then. With Stepway you also get chrome-finished pipe, exclusive bumpers and grille and roof bars with an integrated spoiler. Sandero Stepway based on Logan’s platform Renault knows how to spawn multiple cars from the same platform. Dont agree? Well then, have a look at their upcoming cars- the Sandup based on the Sandero’s platfrom or even the Sandero Stepway. We think that both represent the same mini-SUV based on the Logan platfrom which was displayed as a concept and is expected make its debut soon. This is a good example of platform sharing wherein the Logan platform has been used to make a variety of vehicles, conceived by Dacia. One more model to come out of the same platform is the Sand’Up. Built at Renault’s Curitiba plant in Brazil, the five-passenger Stepway will go on sale in the Brazil market in October, with Argentinean sales to follow shortly after that. The company also is studying whether to offer the Stepway in other markets where the Logan is built and sold, including India and Russia. The “urban sport” derivative of the Logan/Sandero (code name B0) features a higher ground clearance, roof bars, an integrated spoiler, exclusive grille and bumpers, plus a chrome tailpipe. Prices only go up after this, so if you know you’ll be in Austin this year for the festival, scoop up your tickets early. The lineup has not been announced yet, but the ACL forum is abuzz with many rumored acts, including: The Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Ghostland Observatory, Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam, John Legend, and Thievery Corporation. Wow! I might have to go all three days this year.

Tickets for the Austin City Limits festival - happening this year on October 2nd-4th in Austin’s Zilker Park - go on sale today (Tuesday, April 7th) at 11am EST. That sale happens in advance of the fest’s official lineup announcement, scheduled for April 28th.

Calgary festival Sled Island hasn’t announced its lineup either. But Sled Island does have a pre-fest fundraiser planned for Saturday April 11th (tickets on sale). Headlining that show at Calgary’s Royal Canadian Legion will be 2008 fest performer Fucked Up(video below). Sled Island itself takes place June 25th-28th. Curating this year’s festivities will be Colin Newman from Wire (who also played Sled Island ‘08).

Camp Bisco, a three-night fest headlined by The Disco Biscuits, is happening on July 16th-18th in Mariaville, NY. The artists playing include Nas, Chromeo, The Orb, Dr. Dog and more (full lineup below). Tickets are on sale now.

Monolith Festival is happening again this year in September at Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Colorodo. No acts or dates have been announced yet - but last year’s lineup was pretty stellar with TV on the Radio, Justice, Band of Horses, and more playing.

Merge Records is running its own 20th-anniversary festival, XX Merge, on July 22nd-26th in North Carolina. The lineup has been partially announced - with acts like Superchunk, Spoon, Conor Oberst, and M. Ward confirmed. Five-day passes go on sale Wednesday, April 8th at 10am.

Glastonbury sold out its last batch of tickets this week. The UK festival, happening June 26th-28th, has confirmed acts that include Lily Allen, Fleet Foxes, Neil Young, Blur, Bruce Springsteen, Emiliana Torrini, Doves, Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings, and Echo And The Bunnymen.

Coachella in Indio, CA, on April 17th-19th. Tickets on sale.

Sasquatch in Quincy, WA on May 23rd-25th. Tickets on sale.

Northside Festival in Brooklyn (June 11th-14th). Badges are on sale.

Bonnaroo is happening too, from June 11th-14th in Manchester, TN.

Pitchfork Festival is taking place July 17th-19th in Chicago’s Union Park. The fest recently added The Flaming Lips to its already announced lineup. Tickets are on sale now.

The Flaming Lips will also be co-curating and headlining one night of ATP NY, September 11th-13th in NY’s Catskills. Tickets for that are still on sale.

All Points West July 31-Aug 2nd in Jersey City. Tickets on sale

Lollapalooza on August 7th-9th in Chicago, IL. Tickets (and VIP passes) are on sale now. There have been some rumored bands, but the official lineup comes out April 21st.

Bumbershoot in Seattle on September 5th-7th. Three-day passes are on sale now.

There are more confirmed festivals, but I think that’s enough for this post. In the unconfirmed department, Woodstock ‘09 is currently shoping for a venue.
