  10. SHINO January 23rd, 2009 at 6:20 pm

Salman Khan needs to win it for Yuvvraaj. He gave an exceptional performance as the scheming brother he plays in Yuvvraaj. Shahrukh Khan has been overrated ever since DDLJ. He keeps on doing the same roles over and over again. Aamir Khan is also good. Salman Khan should win best villain as well for Yuvvraaj. These Filmfare awards jury can’t stand Salman Khan. I think they are always getting bribed

  11. SHINO January 23rd, 2009 at 6:21 pm

SALMAN KHAN FOR YUVVRAAJ (BEST ACTOR)

  12. Mee January 23rd, 2009 at 8:49 pm

Kajol was the best actress in 2008. Much better than Priyanka or Aish. So, if this awards are really for acting Kajol should win. SRK/Aamir for the best actor….

  13. murtaza January 25th, 2009 at 11:53 pm

hrithik roshan is a best actor ( jodha akbar ) 2008. and jodha akbar is best film of 2008

  14. Sarkar January 29th, 2009 at 3:38 am

Shahrukh Khan: Popular, most selling product in market (doesn’t mean the best product in market), has skills in public relations. Average actor, most consider him best because of his immensity in some kind of acting. A lot of people consider him the worst because of same kind of acting intensity in every act. Never Evolved as a good actor, takes any role that would get success commercially, never want to make difference. Unarguably charismatic and popular.

Amitabh Bachhan: Very versatile, one of the best actors in bollywood. One of the most accomplished actors. Very diplomatic and wise in public. Got mad skills in acting. Never evolved as an actor, takes any role without studying, doesn’t have one’s own quality assurance check.

Aamir Khan: Very versatile. Great talent in acting. Very logical and intellectually curious to pursue roles in apt manners. Has evolved as an actor who seeks different and new ways to make difference. Social skills are average, and doesn’t care. However, as an actor second to none. (Hritik Roshan might prove this wrong, hasn’t done it yet, but has potential)

**Please note these comment pertain to Hindi movie actors, Kamal Hassan and other actors from the country are not included

its a prefect Filmfare 2009 Predictions not predication bt its for sure ….

May be there is little bit change in case of best actor and male debut award (Hrithik bag best Actor and Frahan Akhatar male debut). And other r perfect. Most of the awards Match the above list.

And some of my frd suggest SRK and Akshy. So one word for SRK he done very well as Surender Shani bt worst acting as Raj so he deserver best supporting actor bt there is no criteria to give an award in such a way.
And second in case of Akshya may be he bag the award for best comic actor if he nominated bt there are some other who done extremely well as comic actor Abhishek Bachchan (Dostana) and Tushar Kapoor (Golmal-Rteturn) so there is no chance for akshya.

  17. kishore February 8th, 2009 at 1:29 am

Hrithik Roshan should get the best actor 2008 (Jodha Akbar). i think tamil actor Surya has done Sanjay’s role better than Aamir khan in Ghajini(tamil).

  18. Raaajaaa February 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm

  20. adnan February 10th, 2009 at 8:44 pm

i think film fare awards and most people cant understand salman khan talent and his great acting skills. people and director think he is all about looks and looks only, well i strongly disagree, beside his good looks, he is one of the most compelet actor in bollywood. his performance in yuvraaj mine belowing, life time peformance by salman ever, and if you disagree with me then just wach him through out the film and especially in the end sceane where he is begging for his brother life. trust me this what you call acting. In that last sceane salman is so natural, so painfull, so direct with his emotions. He makes you feel for the pain he is going through and above all he makes you cry. In today time there are not many actors that can make you cry or make you feel the emotions that the actor is trying to potray.
The actors who i think are talented enouf to make you cry are as follow,
SALMAN KHAN, SRK AND BIG B.
The actors I think are over rated and in they can not act to save any one life, are as follow,
AMIR KHAN, ANIL KAPOOR HRITICK ROSHAN AND JUNIOR B.

  21. HASSAN February 10th, 2009 at 8:53 pm

Salman khan has to win it this year for yuvraaj. he has dileverd a performance once in a life time. to beleve it, wach him through out the film and especially in the last sceane where he is begging to bohman for his brother life. Not even srk or big b can make cry or emotional like the one and only salman khan did in yuvraaj.

  22. Pav February 14th, 2009 at 3:30 am

I think it takes great courage, tolerance and patience to watch a Salman Khan starrer film nowadays. No offence, I was once upon a time a Salman Khan fan, but with the movies he released last year, I really am ashamed of myself for ever considering him an actor in the forst place!! He was like sleepwalking his lines. He had HUGE eyebags thruout the stupid film (might I add), showing his lack of commitment to the very craft that made him Salman Khan the icon. I mean i can’t stand Shahrukh Khan biut at least he did a good job in RNBDJ. His commitment to his character was so visible. Those of you who say Salman Khan deserves to win are only blinded by the love you have for him. Nevertheless, I repect that.

  23. Pav February 14th, 2009 at 3:39 am

    My Predictions:

Best Actor : Akshay Kumar (SIK) or Hrithik Roshan (JA)
Critics: Aamir Khan (Ghajini) or Akshay Kumar (SIK)
    Best Actress: Priyanke Chopra (Fashion)
Critics : Aishwarya Rai Bachan (JA)
    Best Film: Jodha Akbar
    Critics : A wednesday
Best Supporting Actor : Arjun Rampal (Rock On)
Best Supporting Actress : Shahana Goswami (ROck On)
Best Comic : Vinay Pathak (RNBDJ)
Best Villian : Anil Kapoor (Tashan)
Best Debut Male : Imraan Khan (JTYJN)
Best Debut Female : Anushka Sharma (RNBDJ)
    Best Music: Jodha Akbar
Best SInger Male: Sukhwinder (Haule Haule) or KK (Zara Si Dil)
Best SInger Female : Shreya Ghoshal (Teri Ore)

I think they should give away 2 more awards this year to 2 very influential and strong personalities of the industry : Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan. Akshay for bringing the turbans into fashion and making us laugh while being entertained and Aamir for making the distorted crew cut a trendy look and sending the box office collection register through the skies with the biggest ever blockbuster seen in hindi cinema!!!

  24. Pav February 14th, 2009 at 3:41 am

Oh please feel free to agree or disagree!!! I will post my reasons soon….

  25. akbar February 14th, 2009 at 10:42 pm

i think Ghajini is realy great movie and Aamir khan is a greatest actor after yousuf khan i mean dilip kumar

  26. Watsinaname February 14th, 2009 at 11:09 pm

I am not a big fan of bloggers bt 2day when i opened dis up dis really shook me up……first who in d hell will gv best actor 2 Aamir, no doubt he was gud bt SRK was far gud den any1 else……..n Naseerudin Shah didnt acted as a villian in Wednesday…..n debutant actress can b from fashion i donno her name bt she was gud, very gud…..best editin can b rnbdj……best action Ghajini……….rest upto d judges…….

  27. hossein February 15th, 2009 at 5:52 pm

aamir khan always is the best but filmfare always give ward to shahrukh.if you don’t believe me.see it.

  28. Pav February 16th, 2009 at 1:01 am

Firstly, and most importantly, SRK is OVERHYPED!!!!!!! His performance in RNBDJ was nothing more than ordinary. Aamir’s performance was more than ordinary, especially when u consider how hard he worked for tht physque (I am a bodybuilder, I lknow the pain!)… Then we have Hrithik who gave a classic performance as akbar and being less than 1o yrs old as an actor, it certainly is commendable… Now we come to the man who deserves a best actor award, but has yet to recieve it - Akshay Kumar!! Singh is Kinng was an ordinary film, with ordinary humour, but the way the Sardar was portrayed this time round by Akshay maks me stand up and salute him… Sardars have always been made the butt of the joke, like the sindhis and the gujaratis… But Akshay changed the whole gameplan, and for that I believe strongly he deserves the best actor, or at least the critics award…
Now coming to Mr. Bachchan… I m truly not impressed with his performances in either Sarkar raaj or the last lear.. Nothing which made me say good job Mr. Bachchan… Abhisek on the other hand scored with Dostana, but not at all with Drona.. Salman Khan needs to go admit himself at Kishore Namit Kapoor acting lab, because whistling woods only aggravated his already huge problem - he just cannot act… I can go on record to say that he is only slughtly better than fardeen khan!! But not to take anything away from him, when it comes to style, he is the original icon…
Btw, my fav actors are Sunjay Dutt and Aamir khan… SO if anybody thinks I am being biased, please think again…

  29. Ami February 17th, 2009 at 5:15 pm

I think Best Actor awards should be given to actors who carry the whole movie through from start to end.. not just for particular moments that shine here and there in the films.

  30. Ashna February 21st, 2009 at 9:38 am

Best Actress : AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN for JODHAA AKBAR !

Please guys ! Priyanka was good ! But her performance was NOT a classic performance which will be treasured or rememberd by the industry in another 5 years !

    She was just GOOD..nothing extraodinary

Aishwarya deserves Best Critics for SARKAR RAJ

And best actress for JODHAA AKBAR !

  31. Neha February 21st, 2009 at 9:39 am

    I agree with ashna

THIS WAS AISHWARYA’S YEAR ! AND SHE DESERVES IT MORE THAN PRIYANIKA

  32. Rohan February 21st, 2009 at 9:41 am

    Yeah !

Aishwarya was much better than priyanka in fashion..

Priyanka was simply good..but def not a best actress awards.

She just got best actress at the Star Screen as she is the brand ambassador for nokia ! AND NOKIA SPONSORED the show!

    so guys wake up.

Lets give awards to people who have acted !

and that definitely is AISHWARYA RAI

  33. Neeti February 21st, 2009 at 9:42 am

Yah some idiots believe that AKSHAY KUMAR deserves best actor.
I mean have you guys totally lost it or what?

Best actor : Hrithik - JODHAA AKBAR
Best Actress: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - JODHAA AKBAR

  34. Tani February 21st, 2009 at 9:45 am

HAHAHAHA I CANT BELEIVE YOU GUYS JUST SAID BEST DIRECTOR: ABBAS TYREWALA

IT HAS TO BE ASHUTOSH GOWARIKER

No wonder cinema is not growing in India because we reward people who either cant act..nor direct!

AISHWARYA DESERVES BEST ACTRESS… AND HRITIKH BEST ACTOR…

    Not PRIYANKA OR AAMIR.

  35. Pav February 21st, 2009 at 10:35 pm

It is very annoying when your freedom of speech is condemned and you are immediately labelled an idiot because someone does not agree with your opinion. It is PREPOSTEROUS, and not to mention BLASPHEMOUS !!!!! ( —-> Neeti )

Everybody has a right to their opinion. I am a Hrithik Roshan fan, but I have been an Akshay kumar and Aamir Khan fan for far longer a time than that. Hrithik’s performance in JA was very good, almost outstanding, but think it this way, is there no other actor who could have done Akbar’s role as good or even better than Hrithik ?? Maybe, maybe not… Then comes the question of Aamir’s ghajini performance - watch Sunny Deol’s ghatak and Akshay’s Jaanwar - the intensity portrayed by Aamir in this film is reminiscent of both the above films with just a difference of a very perfectly refined physique (which is arguably a very, very daunting task, I know, I am a personal trainer and bodybuilder myself). So somebody had actually already done this particular performance and recieved critical acclaim for it. Still, small and intense Aamir becoming Big and scary Sanjay was an outstanding performance, notwithstanding. But there really is no other who could have done the Happy Singh character that Akshay and phenomenalise, period !! Comedy is by far the most difficult genres to tackle, and to do it confidently, convincingly and with perfect timing is very difficult. Akshay should have been awarded a long time ago, but SIK is by far the most outstanding of them all….

Priyanka was very very good in fashion, because she really undertook the simple small town girl with demurity, whilst tackling the “bitch” character with a leash.. Watch the scene where she tells Arbaaz about her pregnancy, and the other scene where she cries and tries to wipe the make-up off her face - symbolic of her trying to clean the “dirt” from her body after “sinning”…. But Aishwarya’s perfromance was equally outstanding in the Historic Jodhaa Akbar, there really is no need to elaborate on this… Aishwarya in Sarkar Raaj is not a candidate at all. Watch sarkaar raaj again and tell me if Aishwarya Rai alone was reason enough to watch the film again?? Exactly, not at all…

Anyways, the nominations have been released. We shall see who wins…!!! Goood luck to all the fans…..

If Aamir doesn’t win the Best Actor Award for Ghajini,,,,,
then there is something very very wrong going on!!!!!!!

  39. mani February 23rd, 2009 at 10:37 pm

i think aamir is 15 yrs behind shahrukh khan. aamir just thut of a pyscho role now where as shahrukh kha as acted in that sort of movie back in the 90’s for exmple, darr, baazigar, anjaam. people forget that. since shahrukh khan’s villanous roles in those movies he has made a trend for heros to make do a villaneous roles. don’t forget that aamir and salman denied movies such as baazigar and darr coz they were scarred of the backlash. neway shahrukh khan all the way.

  40. neresh February 24th, 2009 at 1:28 pm

    aishwarya rai deserves best actress

  41. Supuni February 26th, 2009 at 10:16 am

Shahrukh Khan for Rab ne bana di Jodi -Best actor

Salman knows only to bull out his shirt. He is a lousy actor. Aamir in Gajini is good but not as good as SRK in RNBDJ

  42. NANDA February 27th, 2009 at 6:41 am

I think either best actress award or critics should be given to Kajol Since her acting is very natural and amazing in U Me Aur Hum.The film might not be a super hit but her acting is really admirable…

  43. azhar March 3rd, 2009 at 12:50 pm

hey best debue is not right
rajiv khendelwal is too good for debue

  44. azhar March 3rd, 2009 at 12:53 pm

  45. raveena March 7th, 2009 at 10:52 am

I think hrithik had done well in jodha akbar so he deserves the award.
