Michael Curry is an American former professional basketball player. Michael Curry played also in the German 1st Basketball league for the team Steiner Bayreuth as a forward (1990-1991).

Michael Curry’s son Deon Curry plays football as a wide receiver for Michigan State University.

Michael Curry recently rejoined the Pistons as an assistant coach. Michael Curry had previously served as the NBA’s Vice-President of Player Development.

Michael Curry is expected to take over the Pistons head coaching duties after the firing of Flip Saunders.
