Larry Mendte, a news anchor from news channel 3 on CBS located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is under FBI investigation for allegedly and secretly looking into his fellow anchor Alycia Lane’s e-mails. This apparently happened on many occasions amounting to hundreds of times over countless months. According to 6 ABC, also located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Larry Mendte’s personal computer was seized from the FBI. Ironically Lane was fired by CBS 3 for hitting a New York City police officer. Now, Mente faces being fired pending the outcome of the FBI’s investigation. Larry Mendte has been off the air since the FBI’s investigation.
And the big story on Eyewitness News is that CBS 3 anchor Alycia Lane is currently locked up in a New York jail cell after being arrested early this morning for allegedly punching a female police officer in the face.

What a disgrace.
FBI stands for Forget Bout It. Larry you still the man in Philly news. Larry had every right to check out all the people that work with him on the nightly news, In case anyone didn’t know Larry -was the lead anchor man. I will scream at the top of my lungs FREE LARRY MENTE! I want my man back on 6:00 pm nightly news and I want hin back NOW!
Tisk, tisk Mr. Mente….what exactly were you snooping for……maybe you and Ms. Lane were closer then the news desk. Was someone feeling left out of the” Lane Loop” regarding her private/personal life? Can anyone spell ETHICS ?
Larry Mente has done much for Philadelphia and many other area city and states. He is an investigator and maybe there was a reason he was looking, if he was looking. Work computers are for work and many employers do the exact same thing. There should never be any personal information on a work PC. Is there something that she was hiding??? Makes you say hmmmm … Larry should be put back in his job and where he was before all this took place. He rec’d many awards from many organizations and has always been personable to anyone that approaches his … never stuck up or off limits to a conversation. Leave the man alone and go after someone that really needs to be looked into … some of the people in our government maybe.
Good riddance Larry, you lying sack of dog poop. We grow so tired of your over blown news teasers, which seems to be the stations claim to fame. Now I see your replacements are doing the exact same thing. This stations news format is all about hype, not facts, followed by incomplete information That’s not journalism and you should all be fired.
Larry you are so sick. That you would go to such great lengths to hurt and destroy another human being. You definitely are obsessed with her and it seems that you got great pleasure out of exposing her misfortune.
I feel very sorry for your wife and family but mostly I feel sorry for you. No character, no integrity, just a pathetic sad little man! Get some help!
Larry and Alycia are both idiots. Im glad their fired, and they dont deserve to be in this business. What gives you the right to look through peoples emails, and what gives you the right to punch an officer in the face. Alycia is a nobody, and Larry…well, you might want to join the FBI.
