Sam Kass

Wondering why ‘Raquel Houghton,’ ‘Sam Kass,’ ‘Sesame Street Anniversary,’ and ‘Sarah De Herdt’ are surging in Google Trends? We can shed some light on the mystery. Google Trends provides the hottest keywords of the hour. Though the results change frequently, at any given time the list offers a snapshot of what’s hot in the world of entertainment news. Here’s what’s steamin’ today…

Sam KassMr. Kass is the newest chef in the White House kitchen. Last night’s episode of ‘The Biggest Loser’ visited Kass at the White House Kitchen Garden, and now everyone wants to know what’s up with this culinary Adonis. The New York Times profiled him yesterday, claiming he’s never run a restaurant or a kitchen, but that he’s an integral participant in Executive discussions on improving the health of America’s youth. He also makes a killer Swiss chard frittata.

Sesame Street Anniversary – See those Big Bird feet in the “Google Doodle” today? Big Bird and ‘Sesame Street’ turn 40 today. That’s old. Especially when you consider a show that’s still running strong today. Next Tuesday, Nov. 10 a new season premieres. It will feature celeb hosts Michelle Obama, Cameron Diaz, Adam Sandler, Kobe Bryant, Ricky Gervais, and others.

Sarah De Herdt – Sarah De Herdt’s ex must be very mad at her. A couple days ago a torrent of raunchy pics were posted of the Belgian sprinter and bodybuilder. We’re talking naked squats in the weight room. Trainers biting her very firm hindquarters. Computer lab nudie web surfing. And worse. Kinda sucks for the girl. Let this be a lesson to us all.

Patrick Swayze Died

Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into moviegoers’ hearts with “Dirty Dancing” and then broke them with “Ghost,” died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.

Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” his publicist, Annett Wolf, said in a statement Monday evening. Swayze died in Los Angeles, Wolf said, but she declined to give further details.

Fans of the actor were saddened to learn in March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from a particularly deadly form of cancer. He kept working despite the diagnosis, putting together a memoir with his wife and shooting “The Beast,” an A&E drama series for which he had already made the pilot.

Swayze said he opted not to use painkilling drugs while making “The Beast” because they would have taken the edge off his performance. The show drew a respectable 1.3 million viewers when the 13 episodes ran in 2009, but A&E said it had reluctantly decided not to renew it for a second season.

Swayze’s career waned in the late ’90s; for a long time, his most notable screen appearance was in the 2001 cult favorite Donnie Darko. In March 2008, he announced he had pancreatic cancer. Nonetheless, by July of that year, he was in sufficiently good health to begin working 12-hour days (while still undergoing chemotherapy) on a TV series, starring as a world-weary undercover FBI agent in the A&E crime drama The Beast, which premiered in January to 2.4 million viewers.

Madonna Concert in Bucharest, Romania

Madonna’s concert will be held on Wednesday, in Izvor Park, in Bucharest and it will last for two hours.

Madonna has come to Romania joined by her lover, Jesus, and her children. As long as she will be staying in Romania, the diva will travel with a special armoured bus, with an interior that looks just like one of a limousine. This kind of bus is used especially for the transportation of VIPs.

Premium Madonna tickets are in high demand now her summer tour is here and this is hardly surprising: Madonna is one of the most successful female pop artists in the history of pop music! Using potentially shocking political, sexual and religious themes in her songs, after more than two decades this legendary superstar of Catholic Italian descent is still incredibly popular throughout the world.

Smile - Charlie Chaplin

The song Smile - Charlie Chaplin was the favourite song of Michael Jackson. His brother Jermaine Jackson sang this at Staples Center.

You can download Smile-Charlie Chaplin by clicking here.

The lyrics for Smile-Charlie Chaplin:

Smile
tho’
your heart is aching,
Smile
Even though it’s breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky- You’ll get by,
If you
Smile through your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You’ll see the sun come shining through- For you.
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide ev’ry trace of sadness,
Altho’ a tear may be ever so near,
That’s the time you must keep on trying,
Smile- What’s the use of crying,
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just smile.

Nenue Fish

A true fish tale! A 10 inch Nenue Fish caught by hand by Curt Carish coughed up a ticking gold watch.
Curt was just sitting on a picnic table looking out into the ocean of Port Allen beach when he saw a nice-size Nenue fish swimming awkwardly near the shore. Allen, a friend of Carish gave a bamboo stick for him to catch the fish.
Diving on the waist high water, he whipped the Kawai Nenue Fish a couple of times with his bamboo stick until he finally caught it. He noticed its stomach was abnormally large and put the prized catch inside their cooler.
Later on, after a few minutes, they discovered a gold watch laying beside the Nenue fish’s mouth.
Surprisingly, the gold watch was still ticking.

David Carradine Murdered

This morning we woke up with the news that the suicide fact of well known Hollywood movie actor David Carradine is disputed. People close to him say David never called a suicide hotline, did not appear to suffer from depression and never mentioned receiving treatment from depression. Thai police says Carradine was not murdered and most likely died from Asphyxiation, reports WashPost.

I was quite shocked about the news of David Carradine’s death. At first it looked like suicide but later on when more information came out, it seems that Carradine died accidentally. But some people think that he was murdered.

David Carradine was a very talented actor. He had a long career in television, on stage and in the movies. He made an impression on many by the types of roles that he took. There was always a little mystery surrounding him as a person. He came across as a person who kept much of his life private; he was a shy person, according to some of his own statements. David came from a talented family of actors, so, it is no surprise that he was skilled at what he did.

Whether it was suicide or if David Carradine was murdered, there is still pain and grief for his family, friends, co-stars, and fans. It is a sad end for a talented man who appeared to try to live his life with dignity. We wish to extend sympathy to all who knew him; or, to those who felt like they did because of the roles he performed and, the impact on their lives from watching him over the years. Rest in peace David Carradine.

The internet is buzzing this morning with searches related to the death of David Carradine.
